Escape Music Festival took place on New York’s Governors Island over the weekend. The two-day event, which was originally slated to take place in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, featured a mix of electronic and indie-rock bands, including Moby, Girl Talk, Crystal Method, Placebo, Yeasayer, Mayer Hawthorne, The Joy Formidable, Ra Ra Riot, STRFKR, Moon Boots and Neon Indian, among others. During Yeasayer’s set, the Reptar horns emerged for a take on “Ambling Alp,” a song from Yeasayer’s 2010 album Odd Blood. The band also confirmed they were finishing their fourth album in upstate New York.
