STS9 continued their recent hot streak last night when they debuted a cover of Phish’s “First Tube” at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia. The song opened the second set before segueing seamlessly in, out and then back into the Sector 9 staple “Moonsocket.”

STS9 have been making waves on their current fall tour, which has marked the band’s first extended run of non-festival dates since new bassist Alana Rocklin joined the band following David Murphy’s departure. As previously reported, the group busted out the long-shelved “Potamus” jam and delivered a few acoustic (aka “axed) tunes during their Friday night show in New York City.

STS9 will continue their tour tonight when they takes the stage at the House of Blues in Boston.
