Gregg Allman has confirmed both a New Year’s Eve show and a handful of 2015 dates. The announcement comes less than a week after The Allman Brothers Band played their final show together on October 28.

Though Allman has regularly toured with his own group while working with The Allman Brothers Band, he has placed renewed emphasis on his solo band during The Allman Brothers Band’s final days. He recently tweaked his band’s lineup, and the band now includes guitarist Scott Sharrard, keyboardist Peter Levin, drummer Steve Potts, Allman Brothers Band percussionist Marc Quinones and bassist Ron Johnson, as well as horn players Jay Collins, Art Edmaiston and Marc Franklin. Allman’s setlists will mix Allman Brothers Band classics with his own solo hits.

The singer/organist plans to work on both a sequel to his 2011 cover-heavy collection Low Country Blues and an album of original material titled All Compositions By in the coming year.

Allman’s solo dates will kick off with a New Year’s Show at Atlanta’s Symphony Hall and move through the Southeast before coming to a close with a hometown show at Savannah, GA’s Johnny Mercer on January 17.
