Father John Misty will release I Love You, Honeybear, the follow up to his debut album Fear Fun, on February 10 via Sub Pop. The former Fleet Foxes drummer made the announcement on last night’s episode of The Late Show with David Letterman, where he also performed his new song “Bored in the USA” for the first time while backed by an orchestra. The new album was co-produced by Father John Misty (aka Joshua Tillman) and Jonathan Wilson, mixed by Phil Ek and mastred by Greg Calbi, all of whom worked on Fear Fun.

Father John Misty has also announced North American tour and a few European dates in support of I Love You, Honeybear. He will be joined by a seven-piece band for the series of shows, which kicks off in Felton, CA on January 16 before wrapping up with Jazz Fest after show at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans on april 25. Guy Blakeslee, King Tuff, Luluc will provide support for many of the dates.
