moe. were joined by by John Hiatt last night for a take on “The Ballad Of Curtis Loew” (their first since 2003) during the One More For The Fans Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The group was one of many acts that appeared at the all-star tribute, which also saw Charlie Daniels and Donnie Van Zant collaborate on “Down South Jukin’.”

Last night’s show was anchored by a Don Ws-led backing band. The group of musicians were joined by a rotating cast of characters that included Gregg Allman (“Tuesday’s Gone”), Gov’t Mule (“Simple Man”), Jason Isbell (“I Know A Little”), O.A.R. (“Don’t Ask Me No Questions”), Peter Frampton (“Call Me The Breeze”), Blackberry Smoke (“Working For The MCA”) and many more. Additionally, the guests all teamed for an ensemble take on the Skynyrd classic “Sweet Home Alabama” to close out the night.
