The Foo Fighters got some help from Joe Walsh and Perry Farrell during last night’s show at The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA. The Eagles guitarist took the stage midway through the show for “Rocky Mountain Way,” a 1973 song that he penned with his pre-Eagles band Barnstorm. Farrell then joined Walsh and The Foos for a rendition of Jane’s Addiction’s “Mountain Song.” The collaboration marked the second time that Farrell has performed with Dave Grohl in recent weeks, while it was Walsh’s first appearance with the Foos since he helped record “Outside” during the L.A. sessions for _Sonic Highways.

Last night’s show also featured the live debut of “In The Clear,” a song from the Foo Fighters’ new album Sonic Highways that was recorded at New Orleans’ famed Preservation Hall. The band also treated the crowd to covers of The Rolling Stones’ “Miss You,” Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ “Breakdown” and Queen/David Bowie’s “Under Pressure.”
