STS9 closed out their fall tour in top form last night at the Fox Theater in Oakland. The band paid tribute to the town by debuting a cover of Bay Area natives Sly & the Family Stone’s “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)” toward the beginning of the second set, which later wrapped up with a gorgeous “ABCees” that included the band’s first-ever teases of Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter” (the extended teases begin at 44:18 in the video above).

As previously reported, STS9 made some waves on Friday night, when they debuted covers of the Grateful Dead’s “West L.A. Fadeaway” and the Isley Brothers’ at the The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The group will return to the stage on December 3 when they play their first show of Dominican Holidaze in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
