Bill Kreutzmann sat in with Les Claypool last night during his annual Thanksgiving show at the Hopmonk in Sebastopol, CA. The Primus frontman, who was also celebrating the release of Claypool Cellars’ latest vintage, invited the Grateful Dead drummer up for a few tunes, including “Jerry Was a Racecar Driver” and the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade’s “D’s Diner.” The latter song also featured a guest appearance by multi-instrumentalist Gabby La La, who played sitar on the Purple Onion version of the tune.

Last night’s collaboration was the most recent public appearance by Kreutzmann, who has been taking the stage more frequently as of late. As previously reported, the drummer just announced that his TryptoBand will play its first show on Tuesday, while his new Billy & The Kids project will make its official debut on December 13 at the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam in Asheville, NC.
