John Medeski and Rachel Yamagata have released a cover of Robert Altman’s “Let’s Begin Again.” The tune, which was written by the late film director in the 1940s, appeared in a number of classic films throughout his career. Medeski and Yamagata recruited drummer Ben Perowsky and bassist Jesse Murphy to help them with the cover. The track was recorded for inclusion in the upcoming Ron Mann-directed documentary Altman.
