AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd, who recently faced charges (that have since been dropped) in an alleged murder-for-hire plot, was back in police custody earlier today after allegedly getting into an altercation with a witness.

According to New Zealand publication Stuff, Rudd angrily confronted a former security guard during a “chance encounter” at a coffee shop, which prompted the man to push Rudd away from him. The drummer then reportedly drove off before being pulled over and taken into custody. The interaction apparently violated a court order that barred Rudd from contacting witnesses in the case against him.

Rudd was eventually released on bail, though he must return to court on February 10. As previously reported, Rudd currently faces charges of drug possession and threatening to kill. Earlier charges that he tried to arrange two murders were dropped after prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to move forward with them.
