Trey Anastasio Band’s fall tour brought them to Portland, ME last night where the group delivered a pair of notable performances including the first “Never” since 2005. The tune originally debuted during Phish’s 1998 appearance at the Bridge School Benefit and was subsequently played twice by Trey solo at TAB shows in November of 2005.

The second surprise came later in the first set when the band debuted another original, “Invisible Knife,” presumably a track from their forthcoming Paper Wheels release. This marks the second original debut this tour, with the first coming in the form of “Speak to Me.” The newer “Bounce” also continues to be played and will appear on the band’s upcoming album.

TAB’s tour continues tomorrow night in Binghamton, NY.
