Widespread Panic have released original guitarist Michael Houser’s final show as the latest installment in their Porch Songs archival series. The performance, which took place at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, IA on July 2, 2002, featured sit-ins from saxophonist Randall Bramblett, guitarist George McConnell and drummer Stanton Moore, whose band Galactic opened the night.

Sadly, Houser died of cancer shortly after the Cedar Rapids show. The band then asked McConnell to take up the lead guitar role, which he held until 2006.
