Phil Lesh played a special Hanukkah show on Tuesday at his own Terrapin Crossroads with the Terrapin Family Band joined by special guest Dan Lebowitz of ALO. As it was the beginning of the Festival of Lights, Lesh leaned on that theme throughout the set, performing tunes such as “Just a Little Light,” “Light One Candle,” “This Little Light of Mine” and of course, “Turn On Your Lovelight.” The show was preceded by a Hanukkah dinner at the venue with Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band.

The bassist also recently announced his new project, Communion, which will premiere at Terrapin Crossroads on January 31. Joining Lesh will be Stu Allen, Ross James, Grahame Lesh and Alex Koford. More information is available here.
