The Avett Brothers, Jim Avett (the father of The Avett Brothers’ Scott and Seth Avett) and the Jerry Douglas-led group Earls of Leicester have been added to the lineup for MerleFest 2015. The event, which is set to return to Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC April 23-26, will also feature performances from previously confirmed acts like Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Hot Rize, North Mississippi Allstars, Del McCoury Band, Lee Ann Womack, Trampled by Turtles, Marshall Tucker Band, Peter Rowan, Jim Lauderdale and many more.
