Sam Holt will continue his tribute to Widespread Panic’s founding guitarist Mikey Houser with another round of tour dates this spring. The shows—billed as Remembering Mikey: Honoring the Music, Memory and Spirit of Michael Houser—will feature Houser originals from his posthumous Sandbox release, as well as tracks he penned for WSP. Holt will also play songs he wrote for, and were inspired by, Houser.

Holt, who was Houser’s longtime guitar tech, also took up lead guitar duties in Widespread Panic for a short time following Houser’s death and replacement guitarist George McConnell’s departure. His upcoming run of shows will get startedin Charlotte, NC on March 19 before wrapping up in Mobile, AL on March 28.
