Widespread Panic continued their annual Panic en La Playa Cuatro in the Dominican Republic with a guest-filled set that featured appearances from the likes of Col. Bruce, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Nikki Glaspie, Grant Green Jr. and Randall Bramblett throughout the two-set show.

While Panic played most of the first set with their standard lineup, offering up takes on “Pusherman,” “Greta,” “Pilgrims” and others, the band brought out Col. Bruce Hampton for his own “Time is Free” along with Randall Bramblett on saxophone. The duo would stay out for the first “Turn on Your Lovelight” since 2009 and would also be joined by George Porter Jr. (who handled lead vocals on the tune).

Set two once again began the way the first did, with Panic offering up the first few tunes themselves as they dug into an opening “Pigeons” and “Travelin’ Light,” among others. The guests would be plentiful in this set however as “Red Hot Mama” would feature Porter Jr. on bass, Grant Green Jr. on guitar, Randall Bramblett on sax, Glaspie on percussion and Neville on keys. For the following “Arleen,” the entire cast remained with the only change coming with Glaspie switching over to drums for an extended jam.

The following “Fishwater” featured a more stripped down ensemble with Glaspie remaining on drums with Blamlett on sax and Ivan Neville on keys. The set-closing “Vacation” featured Panic and longtime collaborator Bramblett closing down the set. Panic returned for an all-WSP encore with no guests as the three-song encore of “City of Dreams,” “Protein Drink” and “Sewing Machine” closed out the evening.

Here’s a look at the setlist from last night:
