Marc Brownstein is the latest addition to the special “Brooklyn Is Dead” performance at the Brooklyn Bowl slated for February 10. The Disco Biscuits bassist brings along an extensive Grateful Dead pedigree, as he has most recently performed with Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann and will do so again at Red Rocks this year. Brownstein also joined Bob Weir and RatDog at the Brooklyn Bowl for a special show celebrating HeadCount’s 10th anniversary.

As previously reported, Alex Bleeker and the Freaks will lead an ensemble through a tribute to the Grateful Dead as guests include Brownstein along with Joe Russo, Eric Krasno, Cass McCombs, Dave Harrington of Darkside, Will Epstein of High Water, Jarvis Taveniere of Woods and Lenny Kaye of the Patti Smith Group.

Tickets to the show, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of Relix, are available via the Brooklyn Bowl website.
