Billboard released their Power 100, profiling some of the most influential names in the music industry. Coming in at #100 on that list was Relix Publisher Peter Shapiro.

The entry read, “In 2014, Shapiro expanded his acclaimed Brooklyn Bowl brand of live venues with partnerships in Las Vegas and London. In July, the venue owner, promoter and festival producer will launch his highest-profile feat to date: three Fare Thee Well Grateful Dead reunion shows in Chicago, featuring Phish’s Trey Anastasio. Produced with Madison House/AEG, the event is expected to draw 200,000 fans.”

Shapiro also picked the Grateful Dead’s 1993 show at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago as the show that made him want to be in the music industry.
