Galactic performed an extensive three-set show at Tipitina’s in New Orleans last night as Mardi Gras week rolled on. The band reportedly played until the sun came up, mixing in New Orleans classics with covers and other original material.

As they have all year, the band also brought out a pair of regulars in Cory Henry and Erica Falls. Falls took vocals on the likes of “Hey Na Na,” “Heart of Steel,” “Right On,” “I Can’t Stand the Rain,” “Africa” and others while Henry added keys to “I Used to Love Her,” “Ooh Nah Nay” and “Can I Be Your Main Squeeze.”

The band will return to the road February 20 with a show at the Ogden Theatre in Denver with Kung Fu.
