Gov’t Mule dove into a few more John Scofield tunes during last night’s show at the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR. The group was joined by the guitarist for the latter half of the first set, which featured their first-ever take on Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood’s A Go Go track “Jeep on 35.” After sitting in for the second half of the second set, Scofield returned for an encore that featured the band’s first takes on the Blue Matter tune “Heaven Hill” and the classic hymn “Amazing Grace.”

Gov’t Mule and John Scofield will continue their tour tonight when they perform at the Fox Theatre in Oakland.
