Les Claypool’s Duo de Twang moved through Colorado over the weekend and the Primus bassist was joined by a pair of special guests in the final two stops. During the show in Aspen, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith joined the fold on an industrial bucket for a fun take on the Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive.” Smith posted to his Twitter, “most enjoyable jam with Les Claypool in Aspen last nite.”

Duo de Twang made a stop at the WinterWonderGrass Festival and collaborated with festival headliner Sam Bush, as he joined for a take on “D’s Diner.” Sam Bush was there headlining the festival with his own Sam Bush Band.

Next up for Claypool is the start of Primus tour which kicks off April 8 at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, MN.
