The Soul Rebels will kick off a three night run at the Brooklyn Bowl on February 26. The brass ensemble announced today that special guests for the run will include Black Thought (of The Roots), Pharoahe Monch and Afrika Bambaataa on February 26. The following night, Rakim and DJ Enuff will join the fold with Roy Hargrove sitting in on February 28.

That final night will see The Soul Rebels and Hargrove team up to play the music of D’Angelo and Marvin Gaye. The trumpet player recorded with D’Angelo in 2000, resulting in his groundbreaking album Voodoo and also recently collaborated with D’Angelo on his latest Black Messiah.

Tickets are available via the Brooklyn Bowl’s website.
