Erik Deutsch and The Jazz Outlaws will celebrate the release of their new studio album Outlaw Jazz tonight at the Brooklyn Bowl. The album finds Deutsch teaming up with some stellar backing musicians, including Tony Mason (drums), Jeff Hill (bass), Avi Bortnick (guitar), Scott Metzger (guitar), Jon Graboff (steel guitar), Steve Elliot (guitar), Tony Leone (drums), Jon Gray (trumpet), Jon Stewart (sax), and Mike McGinnis (sax).

Outlaw Jazz features a number of collaborations, such as a cover of Shel Silverstein’s “Whistlers and Jugglers” with Shooter Jennings, a take on Bo Diddley’s “Dearest Darling” with singer Victoria Reed and and appearance by trumpeter/vocalist Jon Gray on the Deutsch original “Diamonds, Heels and Suits.”
