Georgia’s Sea Island Resort will hold the first Southern Grown Food, Drink and Music Festival on June 19-21. The three-day celebration of Southern culture will boast several events led by award-winning southerners, from a “Big Fish” Fry with author Daniel Wallace (of Big Fish fame) to a waterfront performance by North Carolina natives The Avett Brothers.

From South Carolina comes jamband Sol Driven Train, who will perform the first night of the festival. Besides more music that will be announced at a later date, other highlights will include lectures and classes on Southern cuisine by accomplished chefs from the area and a late-night cocktail event featuring Tom Bulleit of Bulleit Bourbon.
