Gov’t Mule and John Scofield’s Sco-Mule tour rolled through Colorado earlier this week with shows at the Belly Up Aspen and Denver’s Ogden Theatre. Monday’s Aspen show saw Scofield take the stage for “Which Way Do We Run,” “Thelonious Beck” and “Kind of Bird” at the end of the first set before returning for second set takes on “Jeep On 35,” “Sco-Mule” and “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home.” The guitarist then helped the band close out the night with “All Along The Watchtower.”

The tour made its way to Denver the following night, where Scofield took the stage for “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Night Time Is The Right Time,” “Instrumental Illness” and “Freeway Jam” at the end of the first set. He then came back out for second set renditions of “King’s Highway Jam,” “Hottentot,” “Tom Thumb” and “Spanish Moon” before returning for a “Working Class Hero” encore.
