Cabinet will release their first studio album in two years, Celebration, the band’s third studio effort and seventh release overall. Due out digitally March 5, the group will give away the album for free for a limited time via NoiseTrade from March 5 to April 5. The album will be available everywhere on April 12.

In other Cabinet news, Relix will present the band’s Earth Day show on April 22 at the Brooklyn Bowl. The first 100 presale ticket buyers will receive a free copy of Cabinet’s limited edition CD, Black Peter, recorded live in front of a small audience of Relix staff members in the boiler room on October 30. The EP includes a version of Grateful Dead’s “Black Peter” along with their new originals “Celebration” and “Old Time Songs.” Watch the band play “Black Peter” over on Relix.com
