Dead.net is soliciting artwork and stories from fans of the Grateful Dead for use in upcoming 50th anniversary audio releases. A submissions page has appeared on the site, along with a post that reads:

The Grateful Dead’s rich legacy is a long and enduring one, filled with exploration, innovation, and the greatest fans in the world! Now’s your chance to let the band know just how much they mean to you through YOUR grateful stories and art. Some may be shared with the world in our 50th anniversary audio releases and ALL will be shared with Bob, Phil, Bill, and Mickey. Karmic compensation comes in the form of goodwill. Find out how to participate below.

Fans that would like submit stories and/or artwork can do via Dead.net. Those that want to have their material considered for the 50th anniversary audio releases must make sure to submit by 11:59pm PST on March 31.

As previously reported, the core four surviving members of the Grateful Dead will team up with Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti for a three-night 50th anniversary run at Chicago’s Solider Field July 3-5. The shows—billed as “Fare Thee Well”—have already sold out.
