Randall Miller, the director of the Gregg Allman biopic Midnight Rider, has plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and criminal trespassing in the trial over the death of Sarah Jones, a camera assistant who was killed on the set of the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller previously changed his plea from not guilty.

Miller has agreed as part of the plea that he will serve two years and the case against his wife, Jody Savin, has been dismissed. The Hollywood Reporter is also reporting that Miller will also serve an additional eight years of probation.

Jones, 27, died last February when she was struck by a train while filming a sequence on a bridge over the Altamaha River. The filmmakers are accused of putting Jones and their crew in harm’s way on the bridge by filming on an active railway without proper permits.
