The Hangout Music Festival has revealed that its Thursday Kickoff Party will take place at the festival site in Gulf Shores, AL on May 14, one day before the main event begins. The Word, Mayer Hawthorne, Talib Kweli, Break Science, Keys N Krates and more are set to perform.

Tickets for the Thursday Kickoff Party will go on sale this Friday, March 13 at 10am CT. Entry to event is already included in the price of a VIP or Super VIP ticket to the festival.
