Gov’t Mule and John Scofield got some help from Tinsey Ellis during last night’s show at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston. The blues guitarist joined the fray for an encore rendition of Tom Waits’ “Get Behind The Mule” that included teases of “Where It’s At” and “Riders On The Storm.”

Last night’s show also saw saw Mule and Scofield collaborate on a number of tunes, including covers of moe.‘s “Opium,” the Allman Brothers Band’s “Instrumental Illness” and “Dreams,” Little Feat’s “Spanish Moon” and the J.B.‘s “Doing It To Death.”

The Sco-Mule tour will wrap up this weekend with Friday and Saturday shows at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
