Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will collaborate with Chuck Leavell at this year’s Lockn’ Festival. The newly added act joins a lineup that already includes two nights of Robert Plant, Phil Lesh and Friends, Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Gov’t Mule, as well as performances by Umphrey’s McGee, Little Feat, Slightly Stoopid, Anders Osborne, The Doobie Brothers and many more.

KDTU teamed up with Leavell last month, when the keyboardist joined the band for their Rolling Stones tribute show at the Brooklyn Bowl. Interestingly, both Denson and Leavell have played with The Stones’ over the years. Leavell has toured with the legendary British rockers since 1982, while Denson replaced the late Bobby Keys following his passing last year.

The Lockn’ Festival will return to its home in Arrington, VA on Septemebr 10-13. Tickets for the festival are on sale here.
