Minneapolis, MN alt-country outfit The Jayhawks are the latest addition to this year’s Lockn’ Festival. The band emerged in the mid-1980s and recently returned from hiatus in 2009 and released their first album in eight years, Mockingbird Time, in 2011.

The Jayhawks join recent additions such as North Mississippi Allstars, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe with Chuck Leavell and a special Jefferson Airplane 50th anniversary performance with Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady and special guests. This year’s Lockn’ Festival also features performances from the likes of Phil Lesh & Friends, Widespread Panic, Umphrey’s McGee, Robert Plant, The String Cheese Incident and more.
