This year at Electric Forest, on June 26 at 2:30 PM, the festival will attempt to break the world record for largest group hug. According to the festival’s website, foresters will assemble at Sherwood Court Stage with the goal of breaking the current record which stands at 10,554. More information about the event will be revealed in the future.

As previously reported, Electric Forest will take place June 25-28 in Rothbury, MI and will feature sets from the likes of The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, EOTO, Galactic with Macy Gray, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Lotus and more.
