Umphrey’s McGee have announced that their upcoming shows at Fort Clinch State Park have been cancelled by the park administration. According to the band, the concerts, which were slated to be the first-ever shows at the historic Civil War-era fort, had to be called off because “the production and logistics plans put in place were deemed potentially detrimental to the historic landmark by Fort Clinch and city officials.”

Umphrey’s McGee and Lettuce, who were also scheduled to perform at the fort shows, will now play a pair of gigs at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre in Saint Augustine, FL on April 10 and 11 instead. Each night will now feature an extended Lettuce set, followed by two sets of Umphrey’s McGee.

Tickets that were purchased for the fort shows will be honored in Saint Augustine, and will now come with an event poster from illustrator David Welker, as well as audio downloads of both Umphrey’s McGee and Lettuce’s sets. umVIP packages will also be transferable for the new event.

Fans that already signed up to camp at Fort Clinch State Park will now be able to stay in a primitive camping area adjacent to the venue. However, no new camping will be available. Additionally, the amphitheater’s parking lots will open at 3pm on April 10 and 2pm on Saturday. There will also be pre-show live music, local food trucks and more.

Finally, fans that are no longer interested in the shows will be able to receive a full refund for both general admission and VIP tickets. Refunds will be available starting on Thursday, April 2. More details will be emailed to ticket purchasers in the coming days.
