News broke yesterday that Nigel Hall would be leaving The Nth Power to pursue other opportunities. Confirmed by both the band and Hall, the keyboardist has now issued an additional update regarding his musical future.

“I’m excited to announce I have an awesome opportunity to finish my solo project,” Hall said. “Something I’ve put so much of my heart and soul into over the years and its time for people to hear it.” He also went on to say that leaving The Nth Power was “not an easy decision” and was made in the best interest of his family and continued growth of his career.

Here’s a look at the full statement via Hall’s Facebook page.

To all my loving and supportive fans…..

I’m excited to announce I have an awesome opportunity to finish my solo project – something I’ve put so much of my heart and soul into this over the years and its time for people to hear it! I want to thank all the artists that have made me a better musician today and I’m constantly and consistently learning from each and every one of you.

You must know, this was not an easy decision for me – it was made in the best interest of my family and the continued growth of my career. I extend my love, appreciation and sincere best wishes to my brothers and sister: Nikki, Nick, Nate and Weedie and to the rest of the Nth Power family, friends and fans who have made my experiences with them unforgettable.

I look forward to seeing you all at my upcoming shows, especially the collaborations coming up for this year’s New Orleans Jazz Festival.

STAY TUNED & RAGE ON!
