As Relix first reported, the filmmaking tandem of Peter and Bobby Farrelly will reunite many members of their classic casts and team them with new actors at Chicago’s Soldier Field on July 3, 4 and 5. The performances will take place at the same stadium where the Farrelly Brothers once “had a really intense DMT experience” back in the mid-90s. Farrelly Thee Well will echo the spirit of Jason Reitman’s Live Read, the monthly live staged reading of a film script, which takes place as part of the Film Independent at LACMA film series.

Kingpin will draw together Woody Harrelson and Randy Quaid, with Bill Murray’s iconic role of Ernie “Big Ern” McCracken portrayed by Kevin Hart. The cameo appearance by Blues Traveler will be given over to a cameo appearance by Blues Traveler.

2005’s Fever Pitch, which melds the spirit of a rom-com with a paean to the Farrellys’ beloved Boston Red Sox, will spotlight the acting chops of Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon, Curt Schilling’s sock and Kevin Hart.

Charlie Sheen is expected to take on both lead roles in Dumb and Dumber To, with support from Kevin Hart. In an ironic twist, the role portrayed by Jim Carrey in 2000’s Me, Myself & Irene will be shared by Sheen and Hart.

In an ode to their recent groundbreaking work in Taken 3 and Transporter 3, Liam Neeson and Jason Statham will offer a particularly dour and humorless reading of the Farrelly Brothers’ 2012 film The Three Stooges. The third Stooge is as yet unnamed but despite a strong message board campaign for Stu Allen, current web chatter points to Dolph Lundgren and a nod to his turn in The Expendables 3. Just kidding, it’s Kevin Hart’s gig to lose.

The Brothers have revealed that day three of Farrelly Thee Well will feature re-enactments of the Hunger Games series, with Woody Harrelson already on board. When pointed out that they neither wrote nor directed any of these films, the Farrellys responded, “Yes but we have Kevin Hart.”
