Holly Bowling is raising money to release her first album, Distillation of a Dream. The record finds Bowling—the classical pianist who first captured our attention with her rendition of Phish’s 37-minute “Tahoe Tweezer” (and her post-Phish sit in with Marco Benevento)—putting a solo piano spin on a number of other Phish tunes and jams.

Distillation of a Dream features two discs, with the first highlighting Phish’s songwriting, and the second paying tribute to the band’s improvisational skills. That second disc consists of three piano reinterpretations of standout live performances, including the “Tahoe Tweezer.” The album will be released on CD and vinyl, with a portion of the process going to the Mockingbird Foundation.

Distillation of a Dream is now available for pre-order exclusively through PledgeMusic. Every order comes with videos of Bowling’s transcription and arrangement process, footage from the studio and more.
