Gov’t Mule took the stage in Jackson, MS last night and paid homage to Percy Sledge, the famed R&B singer who passed away yesterday. The band worked his famous hit “When A Man Loves A Woman” into their tune “No Need to Suffer.” The performance, which lasted one verse, was a debut for Gov’t Mule.

Earlier in the second set, the band was joined by blues musician Bobby Rush, who sat in on a take on “Dust My Broom.”

Next up for Gov’t Mule is a show in Memphis tonight.
