After being hospitalized with what paramedics deemed a minor heart attack, B.B. King is back home in Las Vegas receiving home hospice care. A message on his Facebook page confirmed the move.

“Mr. King is where he wishes to be,” longtime business manager Laverne Toney told Associated Press. “He’s always told me he doesn’t want to be in a hospital. He wants to be at home.” Toney also disputed reports that King’s daughter Patty King called the police after Toney refused to take the guitar legend to the hospital. King also accused the manager of withholding medication and other negligent treatment of the 89-year-old.

Paramedics treating King for complications of high blood pressure and diabetes, for which he was diagnosed months ago.
