Mike McCready backed Heart singer Ann Wilson for a number of classic rock covers in Seattle on Saturday. JamBase pointed out the collaboration, which took place at the Pearl Jam guitarist’s 13th annual Flight to Mars Benefit at the Showbox. McCready, who performed with his UFO cover band Flight to Mars earlier in the evening, backed Wilson for takes on Led Zeppelin’s “You Shook Me,” “Dazed & Confused,” “Immigrant Song” and “Black Dog.” The pair also teamed up for a rendition of Big Wreck’s “You Caught My Eye” and Garnet Mimms and The Enchanters’ “Cry Baby,” a tune that was famously covered by Janis Joplin.
