New York City’s annual Bang on a Can Marathon Concert will feature a performance Cyro Baptista and Friends. The Trey Anastasio Band percussionist joins a lineup that already includes Nels Cline and Bobby Previte with So Percussion, Asphalt Orchestra (performing selection from their tribute to Pixies’ Surfer Rosa), the Glenn Branca Ensemble and many more.

Since 1987, Bang on a Can has brought a free, day-long marathon of music to Lower Manhattan each year. This summer’s event will take place on June 21 at the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place.
