Modest Mouse have added a run of Western dates to their upcoming summer tour. The indie-rock icons will now play shows in Omaha, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Portland this August. The run will kick off in Nebraska on August 15 before the band hits up the other cities over the course of the next week or so.

Modest Mouse are currently on the road in support of their new album Strangers to Ourselves. Relix caught up with the band to learn about the process behind their new album for a feature from our recent March issue.

Pre-sale tickets for the news shows went on sale today. The Western run will follow a series of June and July dates in Europe and the Eastern half of the United States.
