A new image of Bob Weir hanging out with Joe Russo, The National’s Scott Denvendorf, The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser and Yellowbirds’ Josh Kaufman has surfaced. The photo—first posted on Weir’s manager’s Instagram—appears to show the Grateful Dead guitarist in the studio with the aforementioned artists. (All of the artists are also involved in The National’s long-awaited Grateful Dead tribute album.) Devendorf, Leithauser and Kaufman also teamed up with Bob Weir in 2012 for Headcount’s Bridge Session at TRI Studios.

The photo marks the latest update on The National’s project, which has been the works for over four years. According to earlier reports, the album will be released as a charity compilation for Red Hot, and will feature a number of artists from the indie-rock world, including members of Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, The War on Drugs, Real Estate, Yo La Tengo, The Tallest Man on Earth and more. Those earlier reports have also indicated that the group is recording at Dreamland Studios in New York’s Hudson Valley.
