Tedeschi Trucks Band got some help from Sharon Jones and Doyle Bramhall II during last night’s free show at New York City’s Central Park SummerStage. Bramhall made his appearance in the middle of the set for covers of The Beatles’ ‘I’ve Got a Feeling,” Derek and the Dominos’ “Keep on Growing” and Charles Segar’s “Key to the Highway,” while Jones came out a song later for takes on Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home to Me” and Etta James’ “Tell Mama.” Last night’s show also included covers of Bobby “Blue” Bland’s “I Pity The Fool” and Little Milton’s “More and More,” as well as TTB standards like “Bound for Glory,” “Midnight in Harlem” and “Made Up Mind.”

As previously reported, both Jones and Bramhall are set to join Tedeschi Trucks Band on this summer’s Wheels of Soul Tour, which will feature a co-headlining bill of TTB and Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings.
