Widespread Panic took to the stage at The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL amid the controversy that surrounded the show after city officials spoke out against the band and its fans.

The show itself certainly drowned out any of that however as Panic’s one-set show featured an appearance from Col. Bruce Hampton who added vocals to a cover of “Smokestack Lightning.” Later this year, Col. Bruce and Jimmy Herring will join forces as Aquarium Rescue Unit returns to the road. Col. Bruce Hampton & The Madrid Express opened the show along with a set from Bloodkin.

Daniel Hutchens and Eric Carter of Bloodkin also joined the band in the encore for “End of the Show,” adding vocals and guitar, respectively.

Next up for Panic is a show at CounterPoint Music Festival.
