The Rolling Stones have released the latest studio outtake from their forthcoming deluxe reissue of Sticky Fingers. The alternate version of “Dead Flowers” was recorded in 1970 and features bluesier instrumentation, as well as different vocal inflections from Mick Jagger.
The outtake marks the newest sneak peak of the reissue, which is set for release on June 9. The new Sticky Fingers will also feature the previously unveiled extended version of “Bitch,” along with an acoustic “Wild Horses,” a “Brown Sugar” with Eric Clapton and more.
Earlier this week, The Rolling Stones kicked off their Sticky Fingers tour with a show at San Diego’s Petco Park that included a sit in from Gary Clark Jr. The band will continue their outing this Saturday with a performance at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
