Dave Matthews Band rolled into Atlanta, GA as their summer tour continued last night at Lakewood. During the second set, DMB welcomed out Burbridge on two separate occasions. First, he jammed on the newer song “Mercy,” adding flute to the ending jam that ultimately led into “Out of My Hands.” The band then brought him out later to end the set on a raucous “Warehouse” featuring a full horn jam between him, Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross.

This is the second time the Tedeschi Trucks Band member has appeared with DMB, with the first coming in 2012 at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth. Burbridge joined the band that night on “Jimi Thing” before Zac Brown came out for “All Along the Watchtower.”

Other highlights from DMB’s show last night include the first time “The Stone” and “Belly Belly Nice” have appeared in the acoustic set since the format was introduced. The mellow, piano-led tune “Out of My Hands” also made its tour debut.
