The Rolling Stones’ Zip Code tour continued last night in Columbus, OH and the band brought with them a huge bust out in The McCoys’ “Hang on Sloopy,” which hadn’t been played by the Stones since 1966. Fittingly, the song was named the official rock song of Ohio in 1985 and is a staple at Cleveland Indians and Browns games, among others.

The tune is also routinely played at Ohio State Buckeyes football games at Ohio Stadium, where the band played last night. You can watch the performance above and listen for the crowd to spell out “Ohio” following the chorus.

The Rolling Stones’ Zip Code tour continues June 3 in Minneapolis, MN.
