ETHEL will give their PlusFactor Award to John Schaefer at their annual benefit gala at the Gibney Dance Center in New York City on June 4. Schaeffer, who has hostted WNYC’s Soundcheck since the show’s inception in 2002, will receive the honor in appreciation of his contribution to the ecosystem that nurtures new music in America. The event will feature performances by ETHEL, Robert Mirabel and Dan Friel.
