Yesterday in New York, Robert Hunter & Jerry Garcia were enshrined into the Songwriters Hall of Fame alongside fellow inductees Toby Keith, Cyndi Lauper, Linda Perry, Willie Dixon and Bobby Braddock. To celebrate, Hunter appeared and performed “Ripple,” which you can watch below.

Zac Brown inducted Hunter and Garcia after performing “Casey Jones.” Hunter was joined by Garcia’s daughter, Trixie, who accepted the induction on her fathers’ behalf.

Other highlights on the night included Stephen Colbert making a surprise appearance to induct Toby Keith as well as perform his tune “Not As Good As I Once Was.” Van Morrison also received the Johnny Mercer Award last night. Watch Hunter’s performance below.
